The history of Mencarelli Group was created by the commitment and passion of Mrs Elisa and Rodolfo Mencarelli. The dedication and professionalism have led them to refine more and more sophisticated methods of work and adapted to customer requests received over time, merits and satisfactions.

 





History

The Restaurant La Rosetta born in 1922 thanks to the vision of Egisto Paradisi, together with the hotel, becoming in the years one of the top eateries not only in the city of Perugia but in the whole region.

First restaurant in Umbria to aquire the prestigious Michelin Star, La Rosetta has always been attended by Perugia notable people and by the several foreign guests of the city, due for its central location and for the well known and appreciated customer service. Situated in a charming and confortable environment, with a loverly indoor garden, Restaurant La Rosetta has become an international recognized meeting place where to taste genuine and traditional dishes.

On July 2015 the management of the restaurant has passed by to the Mencarelli Group, headed by the renowned Commendatore Rodolfo Mencarelli, holder of many activities in the catering and hospitality for more than 40 years.
Pride of the Group is “La Taverna del Lupo” in Gubbio, recognized world wide as one of the best restaurant in central Italy.


Target

The common goal is to preserve the prestige of the restaurant “La Rosetta” acquired over the years from the family Paradisi-Toscani, selecting only the best local and seasonal products. This procedure allow us to guarantee the best dishes of Perugia culinary tradition, also revisited with a modern twist, combining them with the most exclusive local and national wineries.
